The main goal of the project is to improve the understanding of electric machines operation, power electronic circuits and electric drives and the terminology used in their industrial applications. This is achieved via, animations, visualisations and interactive exercises on electromagnetic phenomena. The material deals with the following:

-Production of stationary and travelling magnetic field
-Induced voltage and Forces on a conductor in a magnetic field
-Power Electronic Circuit Analysis
-Control of electric drives

These phenomena are applied to different types of electric machines, converters and control strategies, such as dc-motor, synchronous- and induction machines and their derives. Furthermore, these different types of electric devices are presented and their operation is explained.
